Today was an astonishingly wonderful day. One of the best. Ever. Perhaps even life changing.
When you want to start a blog for the first time you tend to have tons of ideas to write about, I know I did, but then POOF, 99% of them disappear once it’s finally time to post content.
Don’t you hate that?
So you need a few tips to help get you started with blogging, or to reignite your passion for it?
With Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation in theaters I thought it’d be fun to repost this article I wrote a couple years ago about Tom Cruise and the art of being yourself.
Have you ever wondered how to express yourself artistically in a way that captures the hearts and ignites the imagination of other people? I have, and I learned the secret as to how when I met Tom Cruise.
If you write in public, especially if you blog, you will eventually attract haters. I’m not talking about literary critics, or people who simply disagree with you, or anyone with constructive, usable feedback. No. Those, my fellow scribbler, are not the haters…
If you stopped posting on your blog, or never published another book, or just altogether stopped sharing your writing, would anyone miss you?
One of the things I enjoy doing when publishing a new book is creating a few memes (easy to share pictures with famous or popular quotes on them) and share them via my blog and various social networks.
The memes I created for The Audacity to be a Writer are themed Awesome, Audacious and Inspiring Quotes. I hope you enjoy them.

Today I have the honor of announcing the Top 50 Writing Blogs for 2015!
It’s hard to believe an entire year has passed and yet, here we are with a new list of awesome blogs, and we’ve expanded it from the Top 25 to the Top 50. How cool is that?
Practice means what it says: writing is something to be done over and over, something that improves through the repetitive doing but that needs not be done perfectly. ~Julia Cameron
It’s that time again, it’s the end of the year roundup! (Oh, my bad, this is the very first ever end of the year roundup from Positive Writer. Enjoy!)
I need YOUR help!
Last year I started the year off right by listing the 25 Top Writing Blogs, and I’m going to do it again in 2015. This time I’d like your help with choosing the best blogs. I’m also going to expand the list to the Top 50.
How can you help? I’m glad you asked….
